Language Instruction

Page history last edited by kgs 1 yr ago

Podcasting lends itself nicely to learning a language (whether one wants to know more about his own language, or picking up/improving her knowledge of a secondary, foreign language). When posting a language-related podcast, please indicate in your description what languages are being used:

One stop shop for many languages:

The BBC offers free online courses, and lots of handy tools, like online dictionaries and learning games in Chinese, French, German, Greek, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish. Written instructions are in English, but the lessons default to pictures and audio cues, much like the "Rosetta Stone" series. http://www.bbc.co.uk/languages/index.shtml
